Marie "Mesu" Verger
Nickname- She is only known as Mesu to everyone. The only one who knows her actual name is Marie is Nikolaos. Age- 700, appears 17 in age. Occupation- None, unless nearly being a serial killer counts Human, Vampire, werewolf- Vampire Gender- Female Sexual Orientation- Bisexual Good or evil vampire/ werewolf- Evil
____Next Level____
Personality- Mesu is a sociopath. She really does not care how her actions affect others, nor about others in any way. She is out for herself and keeping herself happy, which tends to mean that others will die because of it. She can lie through her teeth and has the ability to act any way that she wants. It was how she managed to figure out what Nikolaos was ages ago and manipulate him into doing what she wanted.
She does listen to those who are to be authority if it works well for her in the end. As long as no one attempts to stop her from her favorite past time then she has no problem behaving when she is supposed to. No one really knows much about her and usually they stay away from her. It doesn't bother her any. She has far more fun torturing and stalking the humans than she does anything else. Piercing - None Tattoos- None Eye color- Blue-gray Natural hair- Auburn Current hair- See above, though it changes at times Weight- 130 lbs Height- 5' 6" Face claim- Kristen Stewart (This was pre-Bella fever. e.e) Pic-
Likes- Blood, screams, chaos, flesh, death, the sound of bones breaking. Dislikes- Being told no, the sound of crying - though she does like begging, having to change her plans, nearly getting caught, Nikolaos - the man is just a bore, men who ellict sex from women and women who sell themselves to men Strengths- Young looks - Most people wouldn't expect her to be anything like she is because she looks like she's barely ready to get out of high school. It helps add to her looks because she can play off the fact that she's barely legal and innocent. Amoral - The fact that she could care less what is socially right or wrong is an advantage to her doing whatever dark deed she may be asked to do. She is what people think of when they think of vampires. Cold, calculating creatures that are out for blood and death. Intelligence - Mesu is oddly smart to the point where she appears to know things she shouldn't. She can read people very well, and tends to know why they act a certain way. Think Hannibal Lecter and you have the basic idea on how smart and observant she is, even if she could truly care less about anyone around her. It is just another way to get what she wants. Agile - She spent a good deal of time keeping her reflexes very sharp. She wants to keep able move faster than the others around her since she is already smaller. When it comes down to brute strength, she needs to be able to counter with speed and agility, so she has spent centuries crafting her ability to weave out of situations that could land her hurt. Hobbies- Murder and sex in the midst of torturing another Fears- Losing her immortality somehow, getting caught/in trouble, people learning of her past. secrets- She actually did care a lot about one person in her life - part of why she became the monster that she was and her whole mortal life really is a secret. She refuses to let anyone know who she was.

Hometown- Munich Germany Mother- Melissa Verger, deceased father- Unknown, deceased Siblings- Henry Tibbi, deceased Pets- None History- Mesu was an unfortunate accident. Her mother could never remember which of her clients was the one who sired the girl, but by the time she knew it was far too late to do much about it. Back then it was very hard to have a child and survive it, especially when one was far too poor to afford the most basic care for themselves. Somehow she scraped through and her daughter survived.
She was an odd child from the start. Very quiet, unlike other babies. Rarely made a sound. It was a blessing to her mother because it let her continue doing what she did in order to keep making money for the both of them to live. Even as she grew, the girl was still very quiet and stayed out of the way. No one ever knew that she had had a child.
She did not get to play with other children, staying hidden most of the time as it was a shame for women in the circuit to have children. Mesu never seemed to mind it. She would easily spend her time merely watching people, listening to how they spoke. The area of the town they were in was rather dumpy and dangerous. Staying indoors was the safer way to go.
When Mesu was six years old, her mother got pregnant again. This time she did know who the man was, and the man actually was showing an interest of taking her mother for his bride. She honestly could not understand where he would ever get an idea like that from. Few men would ever think of it. But he did. He visited them often, offering many things and almost pleading with her mother. Even after meeting Mesu and seeing that she already had a child, he still persisted. He was actually fairly kind to her.
The girl had been used to seeing the bad things in people, especially in the other women that shared this part of the circuit and the men whom her mother pleasured to keep clothing and food in their hovel. Her mother refused. Mesu never understood why, but she believed it was something to do with his status and her fears for what could be if they ever found out who she had been.
Henry was born a month or two before her seventh birthday and for almost a month before her mother had enough strength, it was Mesu's job to take care of her younger brother. From the instant he came into the world, she cared about him more than any other person she had come across. She always stayed close to him and did her best to keep him quiet and happy when their mother was busy.
Henry was a much more typical child, crying when he was wet, hungry or afraid. It was problematic since their mother was still trying to avoid Henry's father's advances. If she would have simply gone with the man, what happened would not have.
One night, around when Mesu was nine, her mother was entertaining a group of men who were getting far rougher than usual. Henry was sound asleep and the young girl was watching over him, half-heartedly listening to the events outside of the door.
At least until her mother started screaming.
No one bothered to listen when a whore started screaming. She made certain that Henry was still asleep before creeping so she could see what was going on. She cracked open the door and found the men holding her mother down and forcing her to endure things that she had come to discover her mother found distasteful.
There was little a nine year old could do. She crept back into the room and made certain Henry was still asleep. He was easily woken up by such events, and she did not want these men discovering them.
More screams and shouts came from the front room. She crept back to see now that Henry's father had come into the situation. She mentally cursed him for being so foolish, but the deed was done. She watched in silence as the men beat up and killed Henry's father and her mother. The men never knew that she and her brother were there.
She vowed to protect her brother and keep him safe from that point on. They were without parents and very quickly without a home. She packed everything that she could of theirs into a large sack and carried her brother away from the home she had been trapped in for nine years.
Life from that point was hard. They were found by an orphanage one day and forced to go in. They always needed an extra hand to do different tasks. It was hard, and Mesu fought to keep her and her brother together. Henry was a sensative boy, far too emotional for the life they'd been thrown into.
Mesu nearly killed an older boy who was trying to hurt her brother. They learned to leave the two of them alone, and Mesu started to keep a knife on hand at all times. She was around eleven when the family came. They said that they wanted to adopt her. She was a pretty child, and one of the only females. The leer in the man's eyes told her exactly what they wanted her for.
She refused unless her brother came along. No one had any uses for her brother. They managed to get ahold of her, get her knife from her and force her into the carriage with the family. To the point where they had to clasp irons onto her ankles and wrists to keep her still. She sat silently in the carriage, plotting exactly how to get away once she was where it was they were taking her.
It took a few days before they were foolish enough to take the irons off of her. It was only a matter of moments before she snuck out and was on her way, stealing a horse so she could get back to the orphanage. But what she dreaded had already happened. Poor Henry, only five years old, had been killed by the other boys. She was there just in time to see them lowering his body into the ground.
She wandered in a daze, coming across a man who was in a close embrace with another. She felt her blood boil and went to give the pair a nasty surprise when she noticed the women falling limp. She literally fell to the ground and Mesu could see the man in a better light. He had blood around his lips and the now dead woman looked far paler than natural. She stared at him. He stared back. Then he was gone.
She made herself a promise to find him again.
It took five years. In that time she learned how to get in very close to others, so close that they never saw what could come their way. She used her looks to draw people to their deaths, perfecting how she could torture them, draw out their pain. Her own pain was still sharp then. She had failed Henry. Her damned mother had doomed them both.
When she came across the man again, she asked him to make her into what he was. He refused. She asked sweetly again, threatening to yell vampire otherwise. She knew what it would do as well as the other man did. He caved in to her wish, only if she promised to stay with him for a few years and learn what he had learned.
It was not long before he realized his mistake. He did not seem to share her gleefulness in the kill and doing everything she could to her victim before actually killing them. It was not long before they parted ways, vowing to leave one another alone and act as if they never met.
So over the years she just did as she wanted. Luring people like her mother and her mother's patrons to their deaths. Oh yes she did learn about the King and the werewolves, and gleefully helped with that, but it was not what she really enjoyed doing. She could listen, be good, as long as no one stopped her from what she loved best. And so far, she had yet to meet anyone willing to try.
