Personality-
Colleen. She's a completely crazy hyperactive girly-girl. She doesn't mind being known as any of those, either. Actually, she kind of likes being the bubbly girl. She knows who she is and isn't afraid to be herself. She's usually very charming and sweet. It takes a lot to put her down and out of that optimistic high of hers.
She's very outgoing and random. She often runs up to complete strangers and starts talking to them about the first thing that popped into her head (which is often sprinkles or some such nonsense, incase you were wondering).
She's a loyal friend, if you're willing to get past some of the craziness and give her a chance. She loves her friends and sticks with them. She'd do anything for them.
Do I even need to say that she can be very annoying sometimes? The only way to shut her up for a few minutes is to scream at her, at which she takes it very hard and gets all pouty. But this doesn't have a long term effect. She'll remember what you did to her, but make it seem like she forgot all about it and go on being her normal self in no time.
She says she can be a serious person, but... can you imagine it?

History-
Colleen was born in the middle of Georgia. As to be expected from growing up on a big plantation in the early 1900s, she was a snobby little girl.
To add to it, Humble and Jack were told they couldn't have any children after Colleen was born. As the youngest of their two daughters, she was one of the most spoiled little brats of the century. She got everything she desired - a white pony, lacy dresses, dollies, pendents, a talking machine, too much jewelry to count, combs, books, chocolates, a few magic lantern...
She and her sister, Sara, even had their own private tutor.
Then they found out that Humble actually could get pregnant, and she did... four more times.
Colleen was furious. She wasn't the center of attention anymore. Now there was a pack of babies always running around, screaming, getting into her stuff. And her parents were finally learning of what a little brat they had raised. They were getting sick of her constant whining.
Then her mother got pregnant with her sixth child. The birth was complicated, and both the baby and Humble died.
Colleen didn't know how to take it. She was in complete disbelief and shock for the first few days. The eleven year old stayed in her room.
No one had time to worry about her, there were three little children that couldn't tell the difference. Abagail called for her mother once or twice, but had no trouble forgetting the woman.
A few years went by and Colleen learned to keep to herself. She'd grown into a quiet, lonesome teenager, who rarely came out of her room.
Everyone let it go on, until Colleen came into the parlor one day, crying, pressing a bloody handkerchief to her wrist. That's when her father realized something had to be done.
He sent her to her grandmother's in New Hampshire. Her mother's mother.
Colleen wrote numerous long, detailed letters to her father, pleading to come back to Georgia. She didn't like her cousins, always wanting her to do what she didn't want to (go swimming, make icecream, put on a play). Her grandmother was always wanting to be "unbearably involved" in her depression. She was being kept there against her will, and wouldn't stand for it!
The replies didn't even take notice of her complaints.
Colleen was in New Hampshire for two years before her spirit finally relented.
She came home to Georgia three years after she left. Everyone was amazed at the improvement in her attitude. She was a completely different young lady now.
And on that year began the war of 1812.
Colleen was home for over a year, until the fall of 1813, when her father declared that he thought it'd be nice for her to go visit her relations up in New Hampshire.
The fighting was heading down South; Georgia, with Tennessee, were gathering troops at that very time to move under Major General Jackson. He thought it'd be safer for his daughter up North.
Nothing ended up going over in Georgia that year, or for the rest of the war, and Colleen found herself staying at her Grandmother's for a few years at a time. She got her own job teaching, and was quite settled there.
Then in 1818 her sister Sara wrote, "Come home to Georgia, where you're so dearly missed. You wouldn't believe how grown Abby, Martha, and Henry are, the first to be married in June. And Lucy has never even met her aunt."
It was decided Colleen would go for the summer and get back to New Hampshire before she started teaching again.
At her sister Abagail's wedding she met a handsome young man. She never did remember his name, just that he was charming and all.
She was walking back home from her sister Sara's house one late afternoon when it happened. The sun was just setting when the man, Mr. Charming, caught up with her. From nowhere.
Colleen was happy to see him, and they walked down the lonesome road for a while, talking merrily, until he attacked her.
She got home, not remembering a thing, a few hours later. She said she didn't really feel all that well and was going to lay down a while.
No one was really that worried until late that night when one of the servants, Old Esi, went to check on her and came out of the room screaming. She said the girl was possessed, but no one really believed her. Old Esi was crazy full of superstitions.
Colleen was found just barely awake, her whole body cold yet she was sweating. The doctor was called. There were holes in her wrists and neck, which the doctor said looked like they were from an animal. But she had come home perfectly fine, didn't say a word about it. He said he hadn't seen this much before and didn't have any remedies. It had never looked good, the patients were usually gone within a few hours.
And Colleen's heart stopped only a few minutes after he arrived.
She woke up in a coffin, buried six feet underground. She screamed for about two hours before she heard something going on above her, the lid being hit by metal, and then opening.
It was a man she didn't remember who helped her out and explained everything, until she tried to kill him and he left.
Old Esi said she saw the girl sometimes. She'd talk to her, and it was like she was even better condition then she had been when she lived.
Of course, everyone thought the old woman was crazy.
Cheer up, emo kid!
