Amelia had always loved the mist that formed over the ground and throughout the air amongst the woods during the cold and crisp evenings, right up until dawn when she would finally be forced to retreat back to the castle by the natural light of the peaking sun. She always came back mind, just to soak up the tranquility and the feeling of being alone. Amelia always preferred to be alone, to be lost in her own thoughts, where she could think without being disturbed by curious, or rather, nosey vampires, or those that just thought they were far more important talking about themselves constantly. It irritated Amelia to the bone, so the woods were a place she came to relax, if it was too busy with the noises of training vampires or a game of one hand hunt, then she crept off to the falls, if she didn't fancy joining in with the blood sport. She knew she'd be more inclined if it were a werewolf they had to catch. Man she hated those dirty, disgusting, foul beasts.
Walking through the mist, feeling a dew form on her bare skin, along her arms, shoulders, chest, neck and face, Amelia quietly looked around the woods. It was so still - haunting with life that slumbered deep in the trees or under the soil. The odd nocturnal creature stirred some life, such a the odd flock of crows or the lonely but wise owl, and of course the smaller kinds such as mice and rats, foraging in the safety of the night away, but preying eyes were always on the look out for the next meal, just like Amelia. She'd taken a few drinks at the castle to sustain her, but there was nothing like drinking the blood fresh from the vein. It was so warm and lingered in the mouth and throat for far longer. She wore a long black dress, a corset built around her upper body, framing her tightly giving a nice hourglass figure, but the large skirt of the dress discreetly covered half her figure, leaving the beauty for the imagination of those who wished to think just how Amelia looked. Of course, the odd night she did wear trousers and a tee shirt, preferrably a tank top. She was just starting to settle down into the evening when the sound of a snapping twig caught her attention. Lifting her guard instantly, she opened her eyes to their alert apperance, and she focused looking around the area she stood in. Someone was near by, she could sense it - and though she had sharp vision, the mist did cause some difficulties.

A faint bit up laughter could be heard from the mouth of the Lolita princess, as she hopped up the stairs to her room. Her body was clad in a black Lolita styles dress, black and white striped stockings and black converse. Her hair was messily tied up with a black ribbon. The dress reached right above her knees and tied in the back, making her look not so innocent. The child like princess looks around her room for her Teddy bear. Teddy was like her son, she never left anywhere without him. And she couldn't have the tea party she was planning if Teddy wasn't there. She had all her other stuffed animals, but Teddy was the most spacial of all. She looked under her bed, in her closest, and in her drawers, but nothing was found. She skipped into her father's room and asked him if he had been the bear, but there was no luck there.
Brietta skipped down and decided to ask the elders. Her small hand gripped the door handle as she entered the room. Each elder bowed down in respect and Brietta motioned them up. "I want to know if any of you have seen Teddy. I really need him for my tea party!" she spoke in her high-pitched, child like voice. Each of the elders denied seeing him, and Brietta left. Tears almost toppling over her pale cheeks, she remembered where she had Teddy last.
They were playing hide-and-go-seek in the woods, when she found Teddy, she put him on a stump. The vampire, hybrid skipped down the stairs and ran for the door. The guards opened it for her. She could open the door if she wanted, but it made her feel important whenever someone opened it for her.
She started skipping, full speed to the woods to find her teddy bear. She entered the dark woods and heard a few leaves being crunched behind her. She quickly turned around and no one was there. "Who ever that is, You'd better stop or I'm telling daddy!" Normally that wasn't such a bad threat, except when your daddy is the king of Shi falls.
She started walking and heard it again. She ran around in a tight circle to see if she could tell who was following her. she then looked down and realized it was her. "Silly me!" she giggled and the continued to skip deeper into the woods. she noticed a feminine figure and she stopped in her tracks. She could sense it was another vampire and she suddenly felt safe.
She skipped up to the female, with her hands behind her back, then swayed back and forth while asking her a question. "Have you seen a teddy bear any whe- Ooooh!" Then she spotted him. He was right where Brietta left him. sitting on a stump.
She ran up and grabbed the bear and embraced him. "You never do that to me again, mister." She skipped back up to the lady and said "Hi! I'm Brietta." _________ DressSorry for the suckiness :3

Amelia looked around, her eyes unblinking as she waited for a figure to move and disturb the mist. She could hear leaves crunching, and she knew for a fact that it wasn't her causing it. She discreetly sniffed the cold evening air, searching for a scent. She picked one up, someone young - a girl, but not a werewolf thankfully. A vampiress - barely near her second century of age. Amelia took a step forward, before the figure emerged. It was a young girl, blonde and rather childish, still fully attached to her imagination. Why it was Brietta; the princess, daughter of the King. Amelia smiled when Brietta approached, happy to see her teddy bear which she'd misplaced. Hello, Brietta she replied after the child introduced herself. You have taste in fashion; I admire your dress she added. I'm Amelia. I live in your father's castle, yours as well, I suppose she explained with a very soft voice. Amelia's voice was like that of a witch, but a decieving one. She was beautiful, kind looking, and everything about her radiated safety. But truth was she was a vampire, deadly as they were. Amelia had a good voice for singing too, but she rarely ever sang; she didn't really enjoy it that much nowadays.
Ever since the loss of her love, and her child, and entering this castle, she'd become cold and more reserved. She kept to herself, but did speak when spoken to, and present her company to those who asked for it. You're lucky you found your bear. The rain which is to come soon would have ruined him, dearly she whispered, crouching down to her eye level. The ground of the woods were crisp from the drop in temperature and how dry it was in the air, but like she said, the clouds were getting darker and rain was on it's way. Not necessarily tonight, but soon, perhaps tomorrow night. I had lots of toys once, not many bears, but lots porcelin dolls. Unfortunately I lost them long ago. I can't remember what happened to them actually she explained before smiling at Brietta. Do you have many toys? What are they? she asked. Anyone would have thought that the way Amelia was talking to the child, she was trying to bewitch her, bring her closer and then snatch her for a spell, but that was ridiculous, well - as ridiculous as you could get in a world of vampires and werewolves.

Brietta clutched her bear close to her. The thought of losing teddy again, making her want to cry. The red haired lady spoke and Brietta let a soft smile come across her face. "Hello, Brietta. You have taste in fashion; I admire your dress. I'm Amelia. I live in your father's castle, yours as well, I suppose" Brietta nodded. "Thank you, Amelia. Your dress it quite pretty as well." Brietta pushed her two-colored bangs out of her eyes and behind her ear. Her father didn't agree with her doing things like coloring her hair. But this is Brietta, we're talking about. The Paris Hilton of the underworld. Do you really think she listens to what her father says?
"You're lucky you found your bear. The rain which is to come soon would have ruined him, dearly " Brietta's expression saddened a bit. "Oh." She didn't like the thought of Teddy being ruined. Not one bit. it would be different if it was Mrs. Kitty or her husband Mr. Kitty. Not that she didn't love them, but Teddy was her child! And if anyone tried to tell her differently, they would have to deal with her daddy. and if there was one thing King Teneberes hated, it was when people made Brietta sad or mad.
"I had lots of toys once, not many bears, but lots porcelain dolls. Unfortunately I lost them long ago. I can't remember what happened to them actually." Brietta gasped slightly. who could live without teddy bears? She said something about dolls and the smile returned to Brietta's face. "Dolls are nice. Much to breakable for me though. And they can't hug back."
"Do you have many toys? What are they?" Brietta tilted her head. She didn't have many toys at all. Brietta was much to old for that kind of stuff. Now, I know and you know that Teddy bears and stuffed animals are toys, but telling Brietta that would be hazardous to ones heath, don't ya' think? Brietta shook her head. "No, not many. I have a few old music boxes and things that were my moms."

Amelia smiled at Brietta as she brushed her long fingers through her soft red and black coloured hair. She twisted a strand around her finger before pushing it all back behind her shoulder. That's not true. Dolls can hug; it may not be as soft as bear's hug, but it's nice enough she explained with a smile before rising to stand. She looked at Brietta and then the bear before narrowing her eyes. Why is it this bear your favor so? she asked placing her hands on her hips. The corset she wore, pulled her waist in tightly, but allowed her chest and hips to be their usual size, overall making her body appear in a strong hourglass physique. She naturally had an hourglass shape to her body, but the corset just enhanced on it. The sounds of the approaching rain were faintly making themselves known in the far off distance, the angry black clouds just peaking over the horizon.
Amelia looked up at the sky and over to the clouds before looking back down at the young vampiress. She smiled and leant forwards a little. Have you ever danced in the rain? she asked. It was a strange question to ask, but Amelia's mind wasn't quite like others. She thought in a formal logic, always twisting things to make things appear more complex than they actually were, or more frightening, or even more appealing. She stood back up normally and breathed in deeply, before sighing slowly, relaxation sweeping over her. Amelia enjoyed the tranquility of the woods so much, it was like her escape from the manic chaos of Shi Falls, and the ridicilous human world which she had finally grown to loathe, despise even. In her mind, though she had nothing against Brietta, she did find it awfully amusing and immature that a vampiress of Brietta's age was still into teddy bears and toys. Her imagination still wrapped her mind and caused her to be oblivious to the real world of Shi Falls. Amelia did enjoy seeing the princess actually behave like a mature vampiress when it came to hunting and playing one hand hunt, but the rest of the time, it was all about "how daddy was her guardian angel." It was a pity, that she would find out one day, sooner or later, that daddy couldn't do everything for her, and in the end, she'd have to stand on her own two feet. However, all of that was kept deep in Amelia's mind.
Well, I'll let you continue with your night, Brietta. Don't get into too much trouble now, will you? Amelia smiled, closing her eyes momentarily before opening them and then walking off, leaving the child to herself.

"That's not true. Dolls can hug; it may not be as soft as bear's hug, but it's nice enough " The red haired, pretty lady said. "Oh. I'll have to try that sometime." Brietta said, smiling really big. She stroked Teddy's head once and looked up at the angry clouds, just threatening to let the rain topple out of it. Brietta's hair was nice and curled, and they rain would surly ruin it. "Why is it this bear your favor so?" The red haired girl asked her. Brietta had to think for a second. Why did she loved teddy the most? Drawing her lips to one side of her face and tapping her chin with her index finger, she thought about it. She had plenty of other stuffed animals. Mrs Kitty, Mr Kitty, Ms Bird and an Elephant, but yet, she always seemed the love teddy more.
After a moment of thinking, she gasped. "Easy. Because he gives the best hugs." She said, in a child like voice. Upon first meeting Brietta, one may think she was immature and un capable of running a kingdom, making some people scared about the day she took over Shi falls, but deep, deep, deep inside Brietta was a mature, well manured queen who was ever bit as evil as her father, every bit as a killer as the most strong vampires. But until her father gave her the crown, she was going to act as immature as she wanted. "Have you ever danced in the rain?" Brietta was confused by the question. Why would someone want to dance in the rain?
"No, Why?" Brietta asked, tilting her head. All the rain did was make your hair soggy and wet, then you have to change clothes to be presentable for the vampire council meetings. But, Brietta guessed this vampiress was not part of the council. Well, she may be, but Brietta had never seen her in her one-hundred-fifty years of life. Pulling her dress down a little bit, she wrapped her arms around her body. Most vampires wouldn't be cold, but Brietta was half human. Every bit as immortal as her father, but she still had blood, a pulse and stuff that normal humans had.
"Well, I'll let you continue with your night, Brietta. Don't get into too much trouble now, will you? " Brietta tilted her head. "Do I bore you?" She asked. Brietta didn't bore many people. She didn't want her new friend to leave her yet. Brietta was bored out of her mind, and nothing good came out of the vampiress being bored.
--- Didn't count the words, but it sucks xD Sorry.
